Conveyor Details

CONVEYORS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT

  1. 400mm solid woven PVC Belt.
  2. Full PVC Tube - 10mm wall - corrosion free, low drag and fertilizer does not build up in plastic.
  3. PVC coated and crowned 102mm Steel Conveyor Rollers with full sealed bearings.
  4. Hydraulic Ram Lift System.
  5. Hydraulic main belt drive.
  6. All hydraulic hoses and fittings are double braid non-skive reusable - Gates Hose, Child fittings.
  7. All conveyors over 12 metres or with hydraulic wheel drives are fitted with Landcruiser pattern Sunraysia type wheels with new radial tyres. Conveyors 12 metres and under are fitted with 14″ Holden wheels and tyres, unless wheel drives are fitted.
  8. Stainless hood and hopper with rubber belt scrapers.
  9. Kohler electric start Petrol Motors are standard. Diesel Motors are available as an extra cost option.
  10. Stainless steel bolts used throughout.
  11. Hydraulic Flow Control Kit standard.

20.5 METRE TUBE CONVEYORS - PORTABLE

  1. 27 horsepower Kohler Electric Start Motor.
  2. Single Rear Caster Wheel.
  3. Delivery heights: Maximum (Fertilizer at 35°) - 11.8 metres, Maximum (Grain at 28°) - 9.6 metres.

  • Hydraulic Rear Wheel Lift System (two wheels).
  • Quick Release Wheel Drives.

15 METRE TUBE CONVEYORS - PORTABLE

15 metre Standard Illabo Machine with all current updates.

Features:-

  1. 22 horsepower Kohler Electric Start Motor.
  2. Single Rear Caster Wheel.
  3. Delivery heights: Maximum (Fertilizer at 35°) - 8.7 metres, Maximum (Grain at 28°) - 7.1 metres, Minimum - 3.2 metres.
  4. Transport height coupled to towing vehicle - 3.3 metres.

Options:-

  • Quick Release Wheel Drives.
  • 15 kilowatt Teco or Western Electric Motor (Cast Iron only to reduce the incidence of corrosion on alloy motors) and wiring included. 12 METRE TUBE CONVEYOR - PORTABLE

Standard features similar to 15 metre unit. Options list is identical to 15 metre unit.

11 METRE TUBE CONVEYOR - PORTABLE

Hydraulic lift and belt. Uses 11 kilowatt electric hydraulic power pak on standard unit. Units are wired and ready to go.

Options:-

  • 22 horsepower Kohler Petrol Motor - no extra . Please note - 22 horsepower Kohler has only been specified in the interests of standardization. 16 horsepower would be adequate and would save around $500.
  • Delivery heights: Maximum (Fertilizer at 35°) - 6.5 metres, Maximum (Grain at 28°) - 5.2 metres.
  • Quick Release Wheel Drives.
  • Fold back Heavy Duty Jockey Wheel.

10 METRE TUBE CONVEYOR - PORTABLE

Standard 11 kilowatt electric motor, hydraulic lift and belt drive.

7.5 kilowatt can be used on sites with poor power supply.

Options:-

  • 22 horsepower Kohler Petrol Motor - no extra. Please note - 22 horsepower Kohler has only been specified in the interests of standardization. 16 horsepower would be adequate and would save around $500.
  • Fold back Heavy Duty Jockey Wheel.

UNDERSILO CONVEYORS

10 metre

 7.5 kilowatt

10 - 14 metre Conveyors - will utilise fully enclosed 5/8″ Duplex Chain Drive System.

17 - 19 metre Conveyors - will utilise fully enclosed 3/4″ Duplex Chain Drive System.

Teco 960 RPM 6 pole motors are utilised as they have greater starting torque and are softer starting than 2 or 4 pole motors.

Prices include installation and includes adaptation to silo hoppers, etc.

Lengths over 19 metres are available with various drive options to eliminate belt slippage.

Please note - with onsite units, ie undersilo and static conveyors, that electric motors only are provided. Local or outside contractors will have to be used as motor starting requirements in each electricity county council area vary too much to allow accurate quoting.

These units can also be driven with petrol motors or from a hydraulic power pak.

Features include:-

  • 300mm x 10mm thick wall PVC main tube, cut into semi-circle.
  • Removable 1mm galvanized covers fitted full length of machine stainless steel optional.
  • 400mm solid woven PVC crescent top belts are more durable and track better than cheaper ply belts.
  • Main drive and tail rollers are crowned and lagged with Rockflex 60 rubber and grooved to aid traction.
  • Final drive ¾” duplex chain in fully enclosed case.
  • Shaft mount gear motors are optional.
  • PVC coated and crowned 102 mm Steel Rollers with fully sealed bearing.
  • Return rollers are 50mm class 18 PVC.
  • All adjusters, bolts, etc are 304 grade stainless steel.
  • Intake chutes and delivery hoods are stainless steel.
  • Price includes installation on site. Electric motor only is supplied all other electrical work is done by outside contractor.
  • Conveyor can deliver up to 2 Tonnes/minute, depending on belt speed.

STATIC CONVEYORS

eg. Undersilo to screen or screen to batchweigher, etc.

These units can have their own electric motor and drive set-up or can be driven from a power pak using its own hydraulic motor.

CENTRE DRIVE CONVEYORS - PORTABLE

These units have been designed where a budget priced machine is required.

They feature all the same frame, tube and belt features of the standard Illabo machine.

These machines are fitted with either electric or petrol motors, and drive drum is fitted at a central location near the belt drive adjuster unit.

No hydraulics are fitted as drive drum is driven from motor.

A clutch type winch system is used to lift machine.

10m 7.5kW electric motor

All Kohler petrol motors are electric start.

Electric winches are available as an extra cost option.
